What’s the iso & shutter speed in auto mode ?to take milky way pic?

Really?? ๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘. I say it's bullshits. No shaking for 25 seconds? That definitely a shot 'without' a tripod. How much did Huawei paid?

Putting DSLRs to shame hand held … Still, I'd like to see the details of a real shot, I mean with a tripod and longer exposure

It real, auto mode with AI on, the camera detected completely dark scene and raised up the ISO, I believed the ISO is more than 200,000.

I really need to find a place with minimum light pollution…

Bullshit that without a tripod. Milkyway need long exposure.

Craps….shooting milkyway with handheld..!!!!

Oh cmon, I just bought recently A7S! Very hard to believe a phone can do THIS :-\

WTF! That is unreal! Either the phone is that good, or you got some mad skills, or both.

It’s been awhile since I last posted here. Many things have happened! JNP is now a licensed travel agency in Singapore and I will be launching our hotel booking portal in 1 Jan 2016! So I haven’t been shooting much this year and I do feel a little rusty when I process this HaRGB image of NGC2264 (Cone Nebula), which took me a total of 7 hours to image it on different occasions. If you rotate the image 90° to the right, it will look like a Christmas tree. Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year of 2016!!! Thank you for your continued support. Just led my first full moon astrophotography expedition to Mount Bromo, one of the active volcanoes in East Java, Indonesia.

The Moon and Saturn made a close approach on 6 May, passing just within 2° of each other, at around 35° above horizon at 5.30am (GMT +7) on a cold night where Eta Aquarid meteor shower peaked. The large and bright waning gibbous moon managed to obscure both the Eta Aquarid meteor shower and the spectacular Milky Way with its illumination at 97%. Although I was able to see a few faint Eta Aquarid meteors on that night, I was unable to see the Milky Way with my naked eye because the bright Moon was located at approximately 20° from the Milky Way’s Galactic Center!

Nonetheless, it’s still possible to unveil the Milky Way against a large and bright moon! Read more at bit.ly/1jeJJ4M and give it a try.

Thank you everyone! This comet is visible to the naked eye in rural dark places.

Can be seen in Singapore ? Places like Changi beach, East Coast?

Can be seen in SG with binocular or telescope and can be easily captured with any DSLR or compact camera.

beautyful image!!!

If you can see the Pleiades, you can spot the comet! Binocs help, really sharp eyes in a good-darkness location can pick it out, but don't expect to see something like Justin's gorgeous image without a telescope (or a telephoto lens). Yes, the combination of the building & trees together with the reflection make a "fish" look. Nice shot!
